Hey there my fellow Lemonistas!
I’m sorry for my absence the past couple days, I had a spur-of-the-moment trip to Knott’s Berry Farm with my hubby and two of his sisters. It was one of the few times we have left our little 6-month old son with a “babysitter” for the day, in this case it was my hubby’s parents.
I used to just be able to go all day long at a theme park, but my trip to Knott’s Berry Farm now as a mom has worn me out after 5 hours! Does becoming a parent instantly turn you into an old fart or something? That’s right, I said fart. ;) But seriously, I feel like I went from being 24 to 60…anyone else feel this way after earning the “mommy” title? Where art thou, thee Fountain of Youth, I need to drinkest from thee. Haha!
All-in-all though it was a fun trip to Knott’s and it was a nice little break from the same-old-same here in mommyhood. Unfortunately, I only left with one souvenir, a Knott’s Berry Sunburn!
Glad to be back here in Lemonade Land and out of the Berry Farm.

haha, I was just asking Steve, whats wrong with our kids they have no energy? We are always go go go. Guess you got that from your other side of the family. :) Actually in my 40′s I feel better than I did in my 20′s. Hope you can keep up with us at Universal Studios. woo hoo! (Mom)

My husband and I turned into old farts after having our daughter–we’re now 30 going on 60. I can’t wait to see how our trip to Disney turns out in May–we are going to need a vacation from our vacation!
Haha, I hear ya! Have fun at Disney, that’s actually 5 mins away from me. :)
