I have been blogging for awhile now, mostly about freebies and savings over at Tomorrow’s Plight and My Pet Savings. I decided it was time to make a blog devoted to my love for writing and this new journey that has started since my new name became “mommy” on Oct. 13th when my little man was born.
This blog will be where I release my thoughts and record memories for later on. I have the worst memory…so I figured it would help to write things down. So I guess this blog is like the post-it note to my life.
I don’t want to focus anymore on the best way to monetize my site, google ranking, how many comments I get, number of visitors…etc. All of my fellow bloggers out there know exactly what I’m talking about. :) This blog is the start of a new mind-set for me when it comes to blogging. I will do it for the enjoyment of it…and let the rest take care of itself.
You might be thinking, “Why Lemonade Mommy?” I wanted an encouraging place for everyone to go and learn how to turn all of life’s negatives into positives. Lately, especially with the economy the way that it is, my little family has really been struggling to focus on all of life’s blessings. When you are faced with a mountain of lemons it can be hard to picture the fabulous glasses of fresh-squeezed lemonade that it can turn into!
We currently have an overwhelming demand for Lemonistas. Say what? Yeah, Lemonistas, like Starbucks Baristas…except exclusively for Lemonade. ;) My goal is that there will be a lemonade stand on every corner, so we can give Starbucks a run for their money! Qualifications: Life throwing you nothing but lemons? Apply Now! Haha!

Great idea for a blog! I think that we have all had issues this year with the economy…and blogging is such a great outlet and way to meet other women going through the same challenges!

Great to see the new site! Just a comment on the shopping trip, 16 years ago right after having my daughter I actually was able to escape by myself to grab a few things at the store in tee shirt and sweats. All was fine until in line and a young baby starts crying, and it is true what they say, the milk comes when baby cries. Well it was not my baby but there I was with enough milk seeping through my tee shirt…….. I felt I had to explain to everybody “just had a baby” sorry : )
